We are deeply sorry that Hai in den Mai 2026 could not take place. We know how much this festival means to many of you, and how much anticipation, planning, and trust you have invested in it. We gave it our all and fought for this festival until the very end. The fact that it was still not possible hurts us deeply.<\/p>\n

Here you can let us know whether you’d like a refund for your ticket, and if so, how much. You’ll find the form below.<\/p>\n

Before you fill it in, please take a moment. This is about more than a cancelled event.<\/p>\n

The situation is serious. We don’t say that lightly. We say it because it’s true.<\/p>\n

Whether Waldfrieden survives as a place is genuinely uncertain right now. In the worst case, we’re looking at insolvency. And with that, the possibility that the buildings and grounds of Waldfrieden pass into other hands.<\/p>\n

You can imagine what that would mean for this place. Every amount helps us prevent that.<\/p>\n

So here’s our ask. If there’s any way you can manage it, please consider waiving your refund, in part or in full. This is entirely voluntary and comes with no expectations whatsoever.<\/p>\n

For this to make a real difference, we need your waiver actively and in writing, through the form below. Only then can we demonstrate that these claims no longer exist, and potentially avoid insolvency.<\/p>\n

We know that money is tight for many people right now. If you need it back, we completely understand. We’re grateful you wanted to be there at all.<\/p>\n

But we want to be honest with you. Over the next 2\u20133 weeks, we’ll first be assessing whether insolvency is unavoidable. Refunds can only be processed after that. In the event of insolvency, we unfortunately cannot guarantee that all refunds will be possible in full.<\/p>\n

Thirty years of shared history and memories \u2014 no one can take that from us. This place belongs to all of us. And we want it to stay that way.<\/p>\n
