Dear folks,
it makes us very sad, but unfortunately we have to cancel the Waldfrieden Wonderland Festival again this year. The recently decided regulations of the state government of North Rhine-Westphalia do not allow us to hold a festival in August. There would certainly be many difficulties, such as a hygiene concept and the difficult entry regulations for visitors and artists from various countries, but we would have gladly given everything to make a safe festival possible for everyone despite all adversities. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to do so. As for Hai in den Herbst (September 9.-12.) things are still uncertain, we have stopped ticket sales for the time being until we have clarity if the festival can take place for sure.
Despite all the setbacks last year, we try to stay optimistic and focus on the future. Even if it hurts a lot that the Wonderland has to be cancelled again this year, we assume that at least for next year we can plan events similar to “before covid” again and that we can celebrate again without any worries.

The new date for the Waldfrieden Wonderland Festival is 18. – 21. August 2022. All tickets purchased so far will remain valid. Until then, we wish you that you get well through the summer without Wonderland and that we see each other again next year to stir up the sand on the floors. ?
